A first highlight in the garden year is the geophyte meadow. Under the leafless trees in the arboretum, numerous plants then blossom, sprouting early thanks to their bulbs, tubers (or rhizomes) and thus creating a sea of flowers. When the treetops become denser and the ground is shaded again, the geophytes say goodbye again to their earthly world until next spring.
